An ever so delicate view of nature, Allyson. What a stunning macro of this beautiful creature. Great comp too. She seems to be snuggled up under the rim of the feeder! Love the light play … her tail feathers so saturated with warm, golden light they seem ethereal. She has paused here. Is she tired? Lost? I feel overwhelmed looking at this wee thing.
What a glorious, sunny, hopeful photo, Allyson! Seeing this in my back yard with that beautiful light cast on it would bring tears to my eyes.
What a charmingly intimate glimpse of “bird feeder life”; and how satisfied the little creature looks to have this haven at your home. And yes, the composition too — delightful.
