This is a marvellous portrait Ally and I love your treatment of it – it looks like a painting and it is so original as a subject.
The choice of filter for this is spot on. A kind of painterly feel gives it an impressionistic sense, inviting story rather than ‘telling’. My favourite thing is the braid. This person does yoga. (:
I love the way everything is golden: hair, skin and even the crystals. Also, it’s a perfect example of the rule of thirds, though I think I obsess too much about that rule…
