The Venue
The Festival is held annually at the Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum. We use the beautiful historic buildings for readings and workshops, the enchanting grounds for storytelling, vendors, and picnicking. In the event of inclement weather, the outdoor activities would be relocated to Temperance Hall and/or the East Gwillimbury Town Hall complex next door; this enables us to hold the event – rain or shine – in warm, dry, and comfortable surroundings! Food and beverage vendors are available, but attendees may bring a picnic lunch if they prefer. We will have a book sales table, an opportunity to get your purchases signed, a souvenir table, and much more!
